Line, New York's longest running off-Off-Broadway show

This whole exercise of writing down your goals? -- it really seems to work!!!

Quite a while ago, I wrote down that I wanted to work in The 13th Street Repertory Company's production of Line, New York's longest running off-Off-Broadway show, and -- it happened! I auditioned today, and I got cast!

and my audition? . . . well . . . it was terrible!!! :)

I couldn't catch my breathe, I was rushing, falling off the line all over the place, but Edith O'Hara (the director) is an old pro with a great ear, and she, using almost the same language that Deborah Carlson at Word of Mouth Studios uses, directed me back on my breathe and back on the line.

Had I not worked with Word of Mouth Studios, I doubt I would have been able to take the direction -- it was mostly straight line readings because I was falling off the line so badly (see The Actor Speaks), but, I knew exactly what she wanted, so I took to the direction like a fish to water, and I think that's what ultimately got me cast, so -- thank you Deborah Carlson at Word of Mouth Studios!!!!!
